Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support a leading organization in driving growth for its English Language and Music business in Italy? Look no further! We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with experience in English Language Learning and a passion for music to join our team at Trinity College London Italy.
As Business Development Manager – English Language & Music, you will play a critical role in expanding existing business and seeking out new opportunities within the educational state and private markets. You will take the lead in managing key accounts, upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, and generating new business across the assigned geographical areas.
To be successful in this role, strong networking skills, the ability to influence decision-makers in education, and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including teachers, headteachers, examiners, parents, and candidates, using a range of communication tools. Our digital strategy is a key focus at Trinity College London, and we are looking for someone who is fully IT competent with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
The role will work alongside the Academic Support Team, Marketing, and Customer Care & Service teams in supporting customer retention, reporting on market conditions and influencing factors, and ensuring fulfillment of agreed sales strategies and targets. Therefore, strong self-motivation, excellent time management, and the availability to travel regularly are essential. A minimum B2 level of English and C1 level of Italian are required.
We would encourage teachers with a good sense of business acumen and experience in the Italian English Language Testing (ELT) business to apply. Sales experience, preferably within a consultative sales and/or sales channel development context, alongside knowledge of Music teaching and learning, will be considered an advantage when applying.
